Guest Services & Amenities

Air conditioning/Heating

Please use the remote control for all air conditioning/heating requirements. The remote control has several modes in which it can operate. Heating/Cooling, Auto or Fan only. The first step is to press the ON button and then select the mode. Please remember the units take between 5-10 minutes before they are running at full capacity.

Breakfast Packs

Breakfast packs are available for delivery to your room the night before for $30. Each pack includes:

• 2 egg and bacon quiches
• 2 slices of raisin bread
• 2 pieces of fruit
• Condiments

Chateau Barossa

The Chateau Barossa is just a short 10 minute stroll from your room, accessible through the garden. Discover Art and Antiques in the gallery, enjoy High Tea or Devonshire Tea, browse through the gift shop or sample local wines at the cellar door.

Don’t miss the rose garden where you will find a rose bush personally planted by Queen Elizabeth 11 during her visit to the area.

Dishes in Rooms

A small number of unwashed cups is acceptable; however, excessive dirty dishes may incur a $30 cleaning fee, which will be charged to your credit card.

Garden Walks

You’re welcome to explore our gardens and enjoy the scenic pathways. We are currently upgrading all 25 acres of garden, with the completed sections located behind the motel rooms, past the restaurant. Our team is gradually enhancing the entire property, so we appreciate your patience. Please stay on the designated paths and grassed areas where possible. You’re also welcome to bring your drinks and nibbles into the finished garden spaces. Enjoy your stroll.

Guest Laundry

A complimentary guest laundry is available next to Room 34. Laundry powder can be purchased at reception for $5 per bag.

Iron & Steamer

A portable steamer is available for guest use. Please visit reception to borrow one.

Key Return

On departure please place your key in the key return box located on the right hand side of the carport entrance/exit near reception.

Late check out

Whenever possible we are happy to offer you a late check-out. If you wish to have a late check out please check with reception to confirm availability.

There are a number of dining options in the town of Lyndoch, just 1km drive or an easy stroll down the bike track. The following options are in Lyndoch with an additional delivery option in Tanunda.

Massage

Guests can enjoy an in-room Thai massage between 9 am and 5 pm. Each session is $120 for an hour full body massage. To book, simply contact reception. 

Noise complaint procedure

If you experience any disruptive noise, please contact reception immediately so we can address it promptly.

Parking

Please park directly in front of your room. If unavailable, park as close as possible to your room.

Pets

At The Lyndoch Motel, we love pets! That’s why we’ve allocated a special room just for pet-friendly stays. If you’d like to bring your pet along, please contact reception in advance to check availability for your visit. 

Pest Management

Australia’s natural environment can lead to fluctuations in pest activity due to seasonal changes. We take preventative measures such as spraying insecticides (non-toxic to humans), setting traps, and making property improvements to manage pests. We appreciate your understanding in instances beyond our control.

Platters

We offer delicious platters featuring dip, cheese, salami, olives, crackers and seasonal vegetables. If you would like one please order through reception. Please note that a few hours notice is required unless you have pre-ordered in advance. Cost $40 per platter.

Pool & BBQ Area

• The pool is available for all guests and their visitors.
• Children must be supervised at all times.
• Pool towels are provided in your room cupboard.
• Strictly no alcohol or glass in the pool area to prevent damage and potential pool closure.
• No running or jumping into the pool.

The BBQ is complimentary for guest use. Tongs and scrapers are provided. If you need assistance, please visit reception.

Restaurant Hours

We strongly suggest that  you book ahead as tables fill very quickly.  To make a booking call 0494120827.  If you are unable to get a table you can let them know you are a guest and they may be able to organise take away pick up for pizza (only).

• Dinner: Thursday – Saturday

Room Servicing

• For stays of two nights, rooms are not serviced.
• For stays of three nights or more, room servicing is available upon request.

1. Press the power button on the remote.
2. Scroll down to Favorite Apps (9Now, 7Plus, 10, ABC, SBS).
3. Select the desired channel and press the middle button.
4. Navigate to the left and select LIVE.
5. To watch a movie, scroll down to TCL Channel, then select MOVIE ARK.
6. If unsure, press the Home button (picture of a house) to return to the main menu.

We have installed two Starlink Satellites; however, if the network is slow, we apologize for any inconvenience as this is beyond our control.
